# Central Highlands Council Upgrades

Nearly 24 years ago, Central Highlands Council bought PropertyWise. Now, they are migrating to CouncilWise Cloud Property and Rating.

Back in 2000, Central Highlands Council took a punt on a little known property and rating software package developed by the staff of a nearby council. This was PropertyWise. At the time, only a few Tasmanian councils were using it. Now, 24 years later, Central Highlands is migrating from our legacy PropertyWise platform to the modern CouncilWise Cloud Property and Rating platform used by councils in Tasmania, Victoria, Northern Territory and Fiji.

Covering more than 7,900km in the heart of Tasmania, Central Highlands is full of beautiful vistas and World Heritage areas, and is home to roughly 2,200 residents (and quite a few weekend shacks!). Small. Beautiful. But the local council has a capable and dedicated workforce deserving a quality property and rating solution which won't cost them an arm and a leg to administer, and we are proud to provide it. Flinders Council has all of the normal local government functions - animal management, building and planning applications, licences and permits, infringements and property management. 

A huge thank you to Central Highlands Council's team for placing their ongoing trust in our software for the past 24 years and now into the future. We'll continue rolling out innovative features at an effective price, and deliver exceptional customer service.
